Choir & Chanters
Saint Euphemia is blessed to have one of the most talented choirs in the local region with over a dozen dedicated chanters. As of 2026, the St. Euphemia choir has been honored to serve in the national Archdiocese Choir for both choral and traditional Byzantine chant.

Diakonissa Jessica Koubek
Diakonissa Jessica Koubek is originally from the Damariscotta area and spent her early life studying music and singing. She was raised in a Baptist household (her father being a pastor), and discovered the Orthodox Church after college. She converted in her young adult years and has served the Church in numerous ways since then. She is a mother of five, the wife of Deacon Sophrony, and is presently the choirmaster of St. Euphemia. Through her labor of love at the chant stand, we are blessed to have heavenly sounding liturgies every Sunday!
